ConsentTools helps clinical research professionals understand and adopt three evidence-informed practices for informed consent in clinical trials. These practices assess and improve participant understanding of clinical trial information, and assist professionals in appointing legally authorized representatives (LARs) when necessary.

The course features weekly facilitated discussions from experts across campus.

The Community Engagement team provides supportive services to researchers and stakeholders with the aim of facilitating meaningful partnerships across the research lifecycle to achieve health for all. The team is led by Pamela Salsberry, PhD and supported by Jeff Grever (Central Ohio) and Beverly Stringer (southeast, Appalachia Ohio).

Jessica Fritter, MACPR, ACRP-CP, has been selected to serve as the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) Ohio Chapter’s president.

The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital was well-represented at the 2023 Annual Appalachian Translational Research Network (ATRN) Health Summit.

The marketing and communications department, led by Ali Hinkle and supported by Brooke Crockett, has the overall goal of increasing awareness and promoting the reputation of the CCTS.

We have been awarded a five-year $1.5 million grant to fund graduate student training in clinical and translational research from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences!
