For Service Providers

Investigators are responsible for obtaining cost calculations from core services prior to submission of the Spark Award application.  Once the award is approved a copy of the award letter will be sent to the awardee and the service provider contact.  

Important Deadlines

All core services support by Spark Awards must be completed by July 31, 2025.  All invoices must be received no later than August 31, 2025.  Services or invoicing completed after these dates will be the responsibility of the investigator. Deadlines cannot be extended.

Cost Calculation Template

Be sure to include the following in the service cost calculation:

• PI Name
• Project Title
• Point of Contact for the service

Detailed service description estimated hours and cost.
